Dan Neugroschl

President & CEO

Dan Neugroschl is the President of Chiral Photonics, which he co-founded in 1999. Prior to Chiral Photonics, he was VP of Operations and Advanced Development and a founder and director of Schick Technologies (currently part of Dentsply Sirona, Nasdaq: XRAY), which designs develops and manufactures digital radiographic imaging systems for the dental and medical markets, from its inception in 1991 until 1998. Dan Neugroschl received an MS in Materials Science from Columbia University and was a researcher at IBM Research from 1989-1991.

Victor I. Kopp

Director of Research and Development

Victor I. Kopp is Director of Research and Development at Chiral Photonics Inc., which he co-founded in 1999. Results of his research on wave propagation through periodic media, nonlinear optics, photonic devices, and fiber optics are presented in more than 60 publications. Dr. Kopp was awarded the Hewlett-Packard Best Paper Award of the SPIE 1999 Photonics West Conference. He has over 40 US and international patents on photonic devices and fiber optics.

Jonathan Singer

Director of Engineering

Jonathan Singer is the Director of Engineering and has been in this position for over 20 years.  He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from M.I.T.  Jon supervises the design of the equipment used to manufacture and test Chiral Photonics products. He has over 20 patents and numerous papers in peer-reviewed publications.

Norman Chao

Director of Production

Norman Chao has been the Director of Production at Chiral Photonics since 2000 in addition to contributing to publications and patents.
Prior to joining Chiral, Norman was Director of Manufacturing at Schick Technologies (currently Sirona, Nasdaq: XRAY) from inception through $35 million in revenues, 400 employees and successful release of numerous product lines and a successful MRP implementation. Prior to Schick Technologies, he was a Manufacturing Engineer at Cox and Company. Norman has an MS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University.
