We specialize in advanced fiber optic solutions, offering cutting-edge components and systems for telecommunications, sensing, biomedical and industrial applications. What You’ll Do Work in a mixed Production and R&D environment which will entail tasks such as:
  • Creating fiber optic components, such as multicore fiber fanouts, combiners, couplers
  • Reading work instructions, schematics, and drawings
  • Preparing and splicing optical fiber
  • Micro-alignment of fibers and optical assemblies using specialized equipment
  • Testing fiber optic assemblies using specialized equipment, such as lasers, detectors and spectrometers
  • Working in a clean-bench environment with contamination control and laser safety protocols
  • Digitally logging process details

  • Precision Measurement Knowledge: Understanding measurement principles, tolerances, and unit conversions are a plus
  • Other Relevant Skills are a Bonus: Any prior experience with optical fibers, such as fusion splicing and polishing, laser systems, interferometry, or precision electronics will be a strong asset
